Adding Training Certificates & Permits
Want to store First Aid Certificates, Site Safe Passports, Working Permits or a Team Member's Qualifications?
There are two different ways you can add your Certificate/Permit Resource, you can either:
- 1
Make them an Attached Resource, so they belong to a User, Equipment, Supplier or Site e.g. First Aid Certificates, Site Safe Passport, Supplier Certificates etc. These Resources can only be viewed by the Administrator, Manager, Tablet (Manager) or User who's Resource it is.
- 2
Make it a General Resource, these can be added from the Resources page on the Web and can be viewed by everyone who has access to the Administration Console. e.g. Building Permits, Gas & Electrical Work Certificates etc.
Add your Certificate/Permit
Adding as an Attached Resource- for this example we will be attaching a Resource to a User but it is the same steps to attach to Equipment, Suppliers or Sites:
- Login to your Administration Console (Web)
- Go to Business & Users
- Click Users
- Add a new User or Edit an existing one
- Click the Orange Plus button
- Select whether you want to upload a File or URL Resource
- Click Resource Type and select Certificate or Permit
- Fill in the rest of your Resource Details, attach your Resource & SAVE
Adding as a General Resource:
- Login to your Administration Console (Web)
- Go to Resources
- Click Certificate or Permit
- Click the Orange Plus Button
- Select whether you want to upload a File or URL Resource
- Fill in the rest of your Resource Details, attach your Resource & SAVE
Viewing your Certificate/Permit
If you want to view the Certificate or Permit you've added, you can do this by:
- Go to Resources
- Click Certificate or Permit
- You should see you Resources added in the List
- Resources added to attached to a User, Supplier, Site or Equipment will be Shown with an icon and the what it belongs to. General Resources will be blank.
Monitoring your Certificate/Permit
You can monitor your Certificate or Permit expiry dates straight from the Dashboard too. This shows you, what they belong to (if they are an attached Resource), the name & Details of the Resource and the Date it is due to Expire. If the Expiring date is red, that means it has expired and you will need to update it by editing the Resource.
